The owner was thrilled to get to work with this couple. She was a very sweet lady that had lost her husband, and they were the original owners of the house. They lived there for over 30 years. Then came the devastating news: their loan was not going to work out. It was a heartbreaking moment, but we did not give up!

Determined not to let their dream slip away, we quickly reached out to another mortgage lender. This new lender stepped in and turned the situation around in record time—securing their loan and getting them to closing in just 17 days. It was nothing short of a miracle, and their gratitude was humbling.

Life brought even more excitement. Two weeks before their closing date, they discovered they were expecting another baby! With him in law school and her pursuing an online college degree, this couple’s commitment to building a bright future is truly inspiring.

We finally closed on their beautiful home the day after his law school semester finals, and as they settle into their new home on 30 acres of serene Augusta County countryside, they can finally breathe easy and enjoy the fruits of their perseverance. This journey is a testament to the idea that sometimes, closed doors lead to better opportunities. And in this case, the home they ended up with is even more perfect than they imagined.
